Effectiveness of short-term goals

  I remember this one advice about long and difficult climbs: it explained how that only concentrating on the summit, your mind would begin to doubt your ability to reach it, and you will be more prone to failure. You can nearly always complete the climb if you look only a few steps ahead, far enough to escape any obstacles.   The key is to stay focused on the task at hand, only looking up to ensure that you are on your path to meet your final goal. This is one of the most important advices I have worked on that short-term goals are the only perfect way to achieving long term goals and I make sure my team and others benefit from it too. One of the most important aspects of goal-setting is to set SMART (Specific, Measurable, Ambitious, Realistic, and Time-bound) goals, whilst keeping them short-term as component of a bigger goal. You'll be able to keep up to the tempo, racing from one objective to another reaching your long-term goals faster and more effectively.   These are my 3 to
